Authorship Criteria
The Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion (JCMRO) follows internationally accepted standards for authorship in accordance with the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
Eligibility for Authorship
Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to all of the following:

Conceptualization and design of the study, or acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data

Drafting the manuscript or revising it critically for important intellectual content

Final approval of the version to be published

Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work and to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the research
All four criteria must be met to qualify for authorship.
Contributors Who Do Not Qualify for Authorship
Individuals who contribute to the study but do not meet all authorship criteria should not be listed as authors. Such contributions may include:

General supervision of the research group

Technical or writing assistance
-
Funding acquisition or administrative support
These individuals should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgment section with their permission.
Order of Authors
The order of authors should reflect the relative contribution of each individual to the research and manuscript preparation. All authors must agree on the order before submission.
Changes in Authorship
Any addition, deletion, or rearrangement of authors after manuscript submission requires:

Written consent from all authors

Approval from the editorial office
Corresponding Author Responsibilities
The corresponding author is responsible for:

Ensuring that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria

Managing communication with the journal during submission, review, and publication

Confirming that all authors have approved the final manuscript
Authorship Disputes
In case of disputes regarding authorship, the journal may request clarification from all parties involved. Decisions will be made in accordance with COPE guidelines.
