Eligibility for Waivers

Full or partial waivers of the Article Processing Charge (APC) may be granted to:

• Authors from low- and middle-income countries

• Early-career researchers or students with limited funding

• Authors without institutional or grant support

• Researchers facing genuine financial hardship

Waiver Request Process

Authors who wish to apply for a waiver must submit a request at the time of manuscript submission or before acceptance. The request should include a brief justification for financial support.

Independent Evaluation

All waiver requests are evaluated independently of the peer review process. Editorial decisions are made solely on the scientific quality and merit of the manuscript.

Transparency and Fairness

Granting or denying a waiver does not influence the editorial outcome. Payment of APC is required only after acceptance, and inability to pay does not automatically result in rejection.
