As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Language

Please note that this journal publishes manuscripts only in English. Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are written in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English.


Types of Articles

The Journal of Current Medical Research and Opinion (JCMRO) accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original research articles (full-length articles)

  • Review articles (systematic and narrative reviews)

  • Meta-analyses and network meta-analyses

  • Brief reports and research letters

  • Commentaries

  • Letters to the Editor


Peer Review

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. After initial editorial screening, manuscripts are reviewed by independent expert reviewers to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance.


Ethics in Publishing

Authors must adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics. Detailed ethical guidelines are available in the journal’s Publication Ethics policy.


Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial or personal relationships that could influence their work. Conflicts of interest should be declared at the end of the manuscript.


Submission Declaration

Submission of a manuscript confirms that:

  • The work has not been published previously (except as a thesis, abstract, or preprint)

  • It is not under consideration elsewhere

  • All authors have approved the submission

  • The manuscript will not be published elsewhere without permission

All manuscripts may be checked using plagiarism detection tools such as CrossCheck.


Changes to Authorship

Any changes in authorship (addition, removal, or rearrangement) must be requested by the corresponding author with written consent from all authors. After publication, changes will be issued as a corrigendum.


Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright of their work. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use with proper citation.


Funding Statement

Authors must disclose all sources of funding and describe the role of the sponsor, if any, in the research and publication process.


Open Access Policy

JCMRO is an open access journal. All articles are freely available immediately upon publication. Authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC), with waiver options available.


Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. All correspondence, including editorial decisions, is conducted via email.


Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts should be prepared in a simple format using standard word processing software. Use a single-column layout and avoid excessive formatting.


Article Structure

Manuscripts should include the following sections:

  • Introduction

  • Materials and Methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

Appendices may be included where necessary.


Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Title of the article

  • Full names of authors

  • Institutional affiliations

  • Corresponding author details (email and address)


Abstract

Provide a concise abstract summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions. The abstract should be able to stand alone.


Keywords

Provide up to 6 keywords after the abstract. Use specific and relevant terms for indexing.


Acknowledgments

Acknowledgments should be placed before the references and include contributors who do not qualify for authorship, as well as funding information.


Figures and Tables

Figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and provided with clear captions. Avoid duplication of data.


References

References should be cited using numbered brackets in the text and listed in the order of appearance.

Example:
“...as demonstrated [3,6].”

Ensure all references are accurate and formatted consistently.
