Evaluation of Vitamin D3 Level, Anti-CCP And Some Inflammatory Markers in Women with Rheumatoid Arthritis in Al-Hawija District, Kirkuk Governorate
Abstract
The present study aimed to know the role of rheumatoid arthritis on the level of Anti-Cyclic citrullinated peptide (ACCP), C-Reactive protein (C-RP), Erythrocyte sedimentation Rate (ESR), and vitamin D3 in patients with rheumatoid arthritis in Al-Hawija district, Kirkuk governorate. The experiment included 50 samples, 25 of which were infected with this disease, which is the second group, and 25 healthy, which is the first group. The ages of the experiment samples ranged between 50-60 years. After ensuring that they were free from other chronic diseases, the samples were collected. "The results of the current study revealed a significant increase (P≤0.05) in the level of ACCP in patients compared to healthy women, while the results of the current study indicated a significant increase (P≤0.05) in the level of C-RP in patients compared to healthy women. The current study also revealed a substantial (P≤0.05) increase in the patients' ESR level when compared to healthy women, as well as a significant (P≤0.05) drop in the patients' vitamin D3 level when compared to healthy women. It can be concluded from the results of the current study that those infected are exposed to immunodeficiency and the disease may cause osteoporosis due to the low level of vitamin D3".
